Hurricanes D-Man Noah Hanifin Opens Scoring Against Hometown Bruins


Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Noah Hanifin scored against his hometown team Thursday night at TD Garden.

The 19-year-old Norwood, Mass., native scored a power-play goal in the second period to open the scoring versus the Boston Bruins. It came on a shot from the point and included heavy traffic in front of B’s goaltender Anton Khudobin.
