Former NBA player Lamar Odom is headed back to rehab.

Odom, who was found unconscious after an apparent drug overdose in Nevada on Oct. 13, 2015, has reportedly checked back into rehab in order to “start fresh for the new year,” according to US Weekly.

People magazine reports that Odom’s decision to head back to rehab was in large part due to his pending divorce from his wife Khloe Kardashian, which is set to be finalized later this month. According to People, the divorce and the upcoming holidays caused Odom to head back to rehab because he didn’t want to relapse.

According to People’s source, Odom will stay in rehab for 30 days but has not relapsed.

Odom last played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2012-13 season. During his 14 year NBA career, Odom played for the Clippers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks. He was named the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year during the 2010-11 campaign and helped the Lakers win back-to-back NBA championships in 2009 and 2010.
