MMA Fighter Punches Ring Girl In Face; She’s Fine Thanks To ‘Chin Of Steel’

Melissa Lori didn’t need battling qualities to become a ring girl, but they seemingly helped her leave the octagon intact.

MMA fighter Andrew Whitney punched Lori in the face last week after he lost a bout at Titan FC 42. The fighter turned and threw a punch out of sheer frustration but hit Lori square in the jaw.

Lori, who also models, told her Instagram followers the punch was accidental and she’s doing fine because of her “chin of steel.”

2 days ago I got punched in the face accidentally by an mma champion on national tv. I thought this was a nightmare and I was completely mortified. I have had people writing nasty comments and laughing thinking this was a joke. This was no joke and yes I am lucky to have walked out of the ring with just a sore chin. The fighter and I hugged afterwards and he apologized. Now I can laugh about the exposure it is bringing me. Bang that till you pass out 💪🏼👊🏼 chin of steel baby.
