The next Pro Bowl will look a lot like recess.

The NFL announced Monday that a Pro Bowl Skills Showdown featuring AFC All-Stars versus NFC All-Stars will take place during Pro Bowl Week and air Thursday, Jan. 25. The event will include several unique competitions, including dodgeball, precision passing, best hands and a relay race.

Seriously.

The Skills Showdown is an attempt by the NFL to spice up Pro Bowl week, and it should be interesting, if nothing else. Each team in the Skills Showdown will feature a mix of quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, linemen, linebackers and defensive backs, according to a press release.

The 2017 Pro Bowl, which will feature a return to the traditional AFC versus NFC structure, will be played on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
