FOXBORO, Mass. — A knee injury prevented linebacker Dont’a Hightower from being a full participant in Thursday’s New England Patriots practice.

Hightower was one of seven players listed as limited participants on the Patriots’ latest injury report. The others were tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder), cornerback Malcolm Butler (hip), safety Jordan Richards (knee), linebacker Elandon Roberts (hamstring), cornerback Eric Rowe (hamstring) and special teamer Matthew Slater (foot), all of whom were limited Wednesday, as well.

Hightower briefly left the Patriots’ Week 13 win over the Los Angeles Rams after running back Todd Gurley hit him with a chop block, but he played in Monday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens and was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola did not practice as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

The Patriots visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
