Rookie cornerback Cyrus Jones and newly acquired wide receiver Michael Floyd were among seven New England Patriots players listed as inactive for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field.

Jones, who was a healthy scratch for three consecutive games earlier this season, had perhaps his worst game as a pro last week, muffing a punt during a win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Floyd signed with the Patriots on Thursday after being released by the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday. He traveled with the team to Denver, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday the wideout would not play against the Broncos.

Defensive lineman Woodrow Hamilton, wide receiver Danny Amendola, running back D.J. Foster, offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle and safety Jordan Richards also were inactive for New England. Cornerback Eric Rowe was active after missing last week’s game with a hamstring injury.
