The New England Patriots won’t make their third trip across the pond in 2017.
The NFL on Tuesday released the matchups for its annual games in London, and New England isn’t one of the eight teams that will play in four games overseas next season.
Here are the matchups, per an NFL release:
— Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars
— New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins
— Minnesota Vikings at Cleveland Browns
— Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
The Ravens, Browns and Cardinals all will make their inaugural appearances in London. The Jaguars will play overseas for the fifth consecutive season, and the Dolphins make their fourth overall appearance.
The first two games will be played at Wembley Stadium in Weeks 3 and 4, though the exact order hasn’t yet been finalized. The same goes for the latter two games, which will be played at Twickenham Stadium in Weeks 7 and 8.
A report last week indicated there was a strong chance the Patriots would play in either London or Mexico next season. A report last month indicated that the league wanted New England to play Oakland in Mexico next season, the site of a Week 11 game between the Raiders and Houston Texans this season.
With London out of the picture, Mexico would be the Patriots’ international destination should they leave the continental U.S. in 2017, barring an unforeseen addition to the slate.
