The Montreal Canadiens have played fantastic hockey over the first two months of the season. They are currently tied with the New York Rangers atop the NHLÂ standings with 41 points, and a lot of their success is due in large part to two of their defensemen.
Shea Weber and Andrei Markov have improved the play of the Montreal blue line and have helped make the Canadiens one of the teams to beat.
