Terrell Suggs has no problem praising Tom Brady, but he’s still not going to say his name.

Brady shredded the Baltimore Ravens’ defense Monday night, throwing for 406 yards and three touchdowns on 25-of-38 passing in the New England Patriots’ 30-23 win. Suggs was part of that defense, and the Ravens linebacker lamented the fact that his team allowed Brady and the Pats to jump out to a 16-0 lead.

Suggs also compared the New England signal-caller to one of the greatest boxers of all time, all without saying Brady’s name.

“You can’t do that,” Suggs said, per WEEI.com. “Like I said, you can’t make mistakes with this guy. You can’t. He’s going to make you pay. It’s like fighting Floyd Mayweather. Don’t go for the knockout because he’s not going to let you knock him out.

“Whatever. On to Philadelphia”

The Ravens did get back in the game Monday night, pulling within three points at 23-20 in the fourth quarter. But that’s when Brady found wide receiver Chris Hogan for a 79-yard touchdown to put the game out of reach as time wound down.

And Suggs wasn’t interested in coming close to beating what he called “a really good team.”

“I don’t know what a shot in the mouth feels like, but I can almost guarantee this can be similar,” Suggs said. “We didn’t come here for no moral victory. We spotted them 16 points. We fought our way back in and we gave up a (expletive) 79-yarder.  You can’t do that. You can’t make mistakes with this guy.”
