Tom Brady Throws Incredibly Ill-Advised Interception In End Zone Vs. Ravens

FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady decided to give Eric Weddle an early Christmas present Monday night.

With the Patriots already leading the Baltimore Ravens 16-0 and threatening to add another score, Brady threw what accurately could be called one of the ugliest interceptions of his illustrious NFL career, fluttering a pass into Weddle’s arms in the end zone to kill a promising New England drive.

Terrell Suggs and Lawrence Guy applied heavy pressure on the play, but Brady’s decision to throw into double coverage surely was one he regretted. It was just the quarterback’s second interception of the season and his first in the red zone.

Brady also threw his 20th touchdown pass of the season earlier in the game, delivering a strike to rookie Malcolm Mitchell from 6 yards out.
