The Ohio University Bobcats will travel to Mobile, Ala., to face the Troy Trojans in the Dollar General Bowl on Dec. 23, but two of their players won’t make the trip.

Offensive linemen Desmond Noel and Jacob Ready were arrested Wednesday night and charged with first-degree felonies for aggravated robbery.

The Athens Police Department was called in response to four individuals approaching an apartment complex wearing dark clothes, according to Coed.com. The individuals fled the scene when police arrived, and both Noel and Ready eventually were obtained. As a result of the aggravated robbery charge, it is believed that one of the individuals involved possessed a weapon.

Both players have been suspended indefinitely.
