With under one minute remaining, Huskies freshman Dylan Sikura notched the game-winner with a powerful wrister. Fellow Northeastern freshman Matt Filipe recorded two goals in the contest.
With the win, Northeastern improves to 13-12-5, while Boston College drops to 18-12-2.
Third period, 0:28, NU 4, BC 2: This one’s all but over. After the Eagles pulled their goaltender, the Huskies’ Adam Gaudette scores on an empty net, effectively sealing a Northeastern victory.

The Eagles did not have many quality scoring chances, but capitalized on their best opportunity, resulting in David Cotton’s tally.

BOSTON — It all comes down to this.
The 2017 Beanpot championship will be decided Monday night in a matchup between the Harvard Crimson and the Boston University Terriers. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, but you won’t have to wait until then for some Beanpot action.
The Northeastern Huskies and the No. 11 Boston College Eagles will battle it out in the consolation game prior to the championship tilt. BC currently sits atop the Hockey East standings with 27 points (13-4-1), while Northeastern is near the cellar with 15 points (6-9-3). Puck drop is set for 4:30 p.m. ET.
