NBA Mock Draft 2017: New First-Round Pick Projections Post-Trade Deadline

The NBA trade deadline has passed, so now it’s time to focus on the rest of the college basketball season before the NBA playoffs begin in mid-April.

Washington point guard Markelle Fultz and UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball have been the top-ranked players in this loaded draft class all season, but Kansas forward Josh Jackson is threatening to crash that group.

Jackson is one of the most well-rounded players in the nation, and his athleticism is off the charts.

His ability to make a profound impact at both ends of the floor reminds us a little bit of Chicago Bulls superstar Jimmy Butler. Jackson is averaging 16.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, and with Kansas primed for a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, his stock likely will increase even more in the coming weeks.
