Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez is on pace to make a rehab start in Double-A Portland on Thursday night.

Rodriguez has been on the 10-day disabled list since dislocating his right kneecap, and the Red Sox must be patient to not rush E-Rod back too soon.

The left-hander must regain full strength in his injured knee before returning or the risk of reinjuring the knee increases exponentially.
