The Tampa Bay Rays avoided a sweep Sunday by beating the Boston Red Sox 4-1 at Fenway Park.

Rays starter Alex Cobb gave up just one earned run and four hits through five innings, and then the Tampa Bay bullpen closed the game with four shutout innings.
