Bruce Cassidy Laments Bruins’ ‘Unacceptable’ Breakdowns In Loss To Sabres

The Boston Bruins found themselves in unfamiliar territory Sunday night.

After being narrowly edged by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, the Bruins laid an egg on the second night of a back-to-back, falling to the Buffalo Sabres 4-1 at KeyBank Center. It’s the first time Boston has dropped two straight regulation losses since November.

Following the loss to Buffalo, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy noted that his team looked “slow” and labeled Boston’s breakdowns as “unacceptable.”
