Don Sweeney Shares Hopes, Expectations For Newly Acquired Bruins

The Boston Bruins have added a lot of new faces in the past week.

In what started with a trade for Nick Holden last Tuesday, the Bruins made several other moves prior to Monday’s NHL trade deadline, including the acquisitions of Rick Nash and Tommy Wingels.

Shortly after the deadline passed, NESN’s Alex Kraemer caught up with Bruins general manager Don Sweeney to discuss what went into each of Boston’s recent transactions.

To hear what Sweeney had to say, check out the video above from “NESN Sports Today,” presented by People’s United Bank.
