The Rob Gronkowski roller coaster continues to make wild tilts and turns.

Rumors of Gronkowski’s possible retirement have swirled since the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl LII loss, which were fueled by the star tight end’s suspicious social media activity. But even though Gronkowski reportedly didn’t enjoy the 2017 season, the latest reports indicate that the five-time Pro Bowl selection will be back with the Patriots in 2018.

Or so we thought.

A few hours after NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Gronkowski is set to return next season, Gronk fired off yet another cryptic tweet which very well could be a response to the rumors of his intent to carry on with his NFL career.

Well, it’s safe to say the bulk of the football world is “clueless” as to what Gronkowski has planned for his future. At this point, we might just have to wait for the news to come straight from The Gronk’s mouth.
