There were at least a few questionable calls in the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and linebacker Marquis Flowers still isn’t over one of them.

With the Patriots trailing 22-19 midway through the third quarter, Eagles quarterback Nick Foles threw a 22-yard strike to running back Corey Clement in the back of the end zone to put Philadelphia back up 10.

But upon further review, it appeared that Clement did not have complete possession of the ball when his toe hit the backline of the end zone. However, the play was reviewed and upheld.

The NFL competition committee said Tuesday that a few controversial no-catches, including the play involving Dez Bryant in the 2014 NFL playoffs, should have been ruled complete. The committee reportedly will look at changing the rule, per ESPN.

While Dez now apparently caught it, Flowers still doesn’t think Clement did. He let his opinion be known on Twitter.

This isn’t the first time this offseason that Flowers has spoken out. The linebacker blasted doubters of his play and rebutted Eagles tackle Lane Johnson’s post-Super Bowl jab in a fiery Twitter rant.

Flowers also was in coverage on Clement’s score which undoubtedly plays into his saltiness.

As mentioned earlier, Clement’s touchdown was far from the only possible missed call. Officials appeared to miss an illegal formation on the Eagles’ trick-play touchdown and a pass interference on New England’s last-second Hail Mary.
