People’s United Bank Goal Of The Week: Pick Best Bruins Goal From Past Week

The Boston Bruins ended their Western Canada road trip with back-to-back wins, helping the Black and Gold get back on track after a tough 6-1 loss in Vancouver.

The Bruins went 2-1-0 this past week and sit one point behind the Toronto Maple Leafs for second place in the Atlantic Division. If that wasn’t exciting enough, NESN, People’s United Bank and Franklin Sports have the contest for you, as the three are partnering for the “People’s United Goal of the Week” sweepstakes.

Goal 1: Brad Marchand Scores OT Winner 
The Bruins left Calgary with two points after Brad Marchand scored on a breakaway in overtime to secure a 2-1 win.

Goal 2: David Krejci Breaks Tie Late In Regulation
The Bruins completed a comeback from down 2-0 in the third period when David Krejci scored from the slot to give Boston a 3-2 lead with just over a minute to play in Edmonton. The B’s held on to beat the Oilers 3-2.

Goal 3: Brad Marchand Nets Two In First Period
Marchand opened the scoring in the first period and tied the score at 2-2 with a pair of tallies Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
