NFL commissioner Roger Goodell held his annual Super Bowl news conference Wednesday, and it mostly was uneventful from a New England Patriots perspective.

The Patriots are in Super Bowl LII against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Deflategate is over and no new scandal has replaced it in headlines.

NESN.com’s Doug Kyed talked to Michael Hurley from CBS Boston about Goodell’s presser and why the commissioner might actually be happy the Patriots are in the Super Bowl. They also talked Justin Timberlake and tried some weird drinks.
