Alex Cora Explains How Andrew Benintendi’s Adjustments Led To Home Run

Andrew Benintendi wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice.

After taking the first pitch in his first at-bat Sunday afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles, the Boston Red Sox outfielder jumped all over the first pitch in his second trip to the plate and walloped a two-run home run.

Following the game, Red Sox manager Alex Cora praised Benintendi for making the proper adjustments that led to his round-tripper. To hear what Cora had to say, check out the video above from “NESN Sports Today,” presented by People’s United Bank.
