There’s not a lot of hype surrounding the Butler and Arkansas basketball programs, but they might end up providing one of the top games in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The teams square off Thursday afternoon as the 7-10 matchup in the South region, with the Bulldogs entering as a slight two-point favorite.
This one likely will come down to whether Butler can guard the 3-pointer. Arkansas hit 40 percent from 3-point land this season, while the Bulldogs’ 3-point defense ranked 296th in the country.
The winner of this one will play the winner of the Purdue-Cal State Fullerton game.
