Celtics, Kings Air Powerful PSA In Aftermath Of Stephon Clark’s Tragic Death

The Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics joined together Sunday before their game at Golden 1 Center for a powerful public service announcement regarding police accountability in the aftermath of the tragic shooting of Stephon Clark.

Clark, a 22-year-old, unarmed man, was shot and killed by Sacramento police last Sunday in his grandmother’s backyard. Police claimed they thought Clark was holding a weapon. Only a cellphone was found.

The PSA, which aired before the game on the jumbotron, showed players from both teams saying they would “not stick to sports” or “shut up and dribble” while asking for change and accountability.
