The Philadelphia Eagles just got some additional help on an already formidable front seven, meaning they have the ideal problem of possessing nearly too many quality resources.

The Eagles acquired Michael Bennett from the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, indicating quality players will be on the sidelines for Philly in moments it otherwise would thrive in simply because of depth.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter decided to project what the Eagles’ new third-down pass rush would look like, and it excluded defensive end Chris Long.

Long, who is a pretty active Twitter user, had a perfect response when he caught wind of the snub. The veteran defensive lineman’s retort simply consisted of a GIF of a nodding Kevin Hart with the caption “alright then.”

Well played.

Obviously it’s tough to totally forecast in March what a team will look like when the season starts, but it sounds like Long expects to still be an integral part of the Eagles’ third-down schemes.
