Can Georgia State author another NCAA Tournament upset for the ages?
The Panthers will take on the Cincinnati Bearcats on Friday in Nashville, Tenn., in a Round of 64 game in the South Region. Georgia State was a No. 14 seed when it upset No. 3 Baylor in 2015, its last NCAA Tournament appearance. The now-No. 15 Panthers will take on a No. 2 Cincinnati side that has realistic ambitions of reaching the Final Four.
The teams boast ultra-stingy defenses, with Cincinnati holding opponents to 37 percent field-goal shooting, and Georgia State keeping its foes to just 39.3 percent shooting.
