For most of the season, it appeared the Boston Bruins might never be able to catch the Tampa Bay Lightning in the standings. But now that’s all changed.
The Bruins are in Winnipeg to take on the Jets on Tuesday night after winning two of their last three games. They’ve earned eight out of a possible 10 points through their last five games, and they’re doing it without David Backes, Jake DeBrusk, Charlie McAvoy, Zdeno Chara and Rick Nash in the lineup.
