Malcolm Butler appears to be on his way to having a substantially thicker wallet.

The veteran cornerback reportedly cashed in Tuesday, agreeing to a five-year, $61 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, with over $30 million of the monster contract guaranteed.

It’s a deserving payday for Butler, who went from an undrafted practice-squad member to a Super Bowl hero and Pro Bowl corner in four seasons with the New England Patriots. Devin McCourty served as the leader of the defensive backfield in each of Butler’s campaigns in New England, and the star safety clearly was excited about the 28-year-old’s new contract.

McCourty’s twin brother, Jason, also had a pretty great reaction to Butler’s reported new deal.

Butler will join a Titans team that has the potential to be one of the best in the AFC next season. He won’t be going heading to Tennessee alone either, as Dion Lewis reportedly agreed to a free-agent deal with the Titans hours after Butler.
