Did Kirk Cousins Accidentally Reveal Top Two Teams On Free-Agent List?

It should be only a matter of time before Kirk Cousins finds a new home, but the veteran quarterback might already have given us a preview of what’s to come.

With NFL teams officially allowed to speak with free agents as of Monday, Cousins took to his personal blog to bid farewell to the Washington Redskins, with whom he played six seasons.

Cousins’ message was a typical thank you to an organization and its fans, but it was the tags listed beneath the post that grabbed the attention of the football world. While terms like “Redskins” and “Free Agent” were listed, it was rather interesting that “Jets” and “Vikings” were included as tags as well.

Both the “Jets” and “Vikings” tags since have been removed from the post, but it wasn’t a total shocker that they were included in the first place. While other teams like the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals reportedly have strong interest in Cousins, New York and Minnesota conceivably have been the frontrunners for the 29-year-old since the start of the offseason.

Maybe Cousins’ next blog post will be the announcement of his free-agent decision.
