Zlatan Ibrahimovic is coming soon to small screens near Major League Soccer fans everywhere.

The Swedish superstar might play his first game for the Los Angeles Galaxy on March 31 in their first meeting with crosstown foe Los Angeles FC, Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl reported Thursday, citing a source with direct knowledge of the situation. The Galaxy are expected to announce Ibrahimovic’s signing Friday.

Manchester United terminated Ibrahimovic’s contract Thursday, allowing him to complete his reported transfer to the Galaxy. He shared a farewell message to Manchester United on Thursday afternoon via Instagram.

“Great things also come to an end and it is time to move on after two fantastic seasons with Manchester United,” he wrote. “Thank you to the club, the fans, the team, the coach, the staff and everybody who shared with me this part of my history. #foreverred”

Ibrahimovic reportedly arrive in Los Angeles March 28 or 29 and begin practicing with his new teammates ahead of the highly anticipated derby vs. LAFC.

FOX will broadcast the Galaxy vs. LAFC game in the United States. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
