The Boston Bruins did not waste much time grabbing an early lead over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

B’s defenseman Torey Krug netted a goal 37 seconds into the first period, quickly followed by Jake DeBrusk lighting the lamp to put the Bruins up 2-0 within the first minute of play. DeBrusk’s read of the Wings’ defense in the neutral zone allowed him to maintain possession and get past goalie Jared Coreau.
