LeBron James, Tyronn Lue Get In Heated Argument During Cavs’ Loss to Blazers

It’s been a tough go of late for the Cleveland Cavaliers and it looks like it’s getting to LeBron James and head coach Tyronn Lue.

During the third quarter of the Cavs’ 113-105 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night, James and Lue were caught getting into a heated argument on the bench after James sat down to take a breather.

The 33-year-old star and his head coach shouted back and forth after James took an ill-advised shot, as Lue appeared to be displeased with his star’s decision making on offense.

It would be easy to overreact to this, but probably just two competitive guys letting their energy and passion spill over into a disagreement which happens often in the heat of competition, especially when your team has been struggling.

Cleveland has lost five of its last eight games, but perhaps this moment between James and Lue will help spark the Cavs as the NBA playoffs approach.
