The madness begins Tuesday night.
In the first “First Four” play-in game of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, LIU Brooklyn and Radford will square off, with the winner claiming the No. 16 seed and a date with top-seeded Villanova in the East Region.
Though the Blackbirds finished the regular season 18-16, they won the Northeast Conference tournament as the No. 4 seed, downing top-seeded Wagner. The Highlanders went 22-12, winning the Big South Conference as the No. 2 seed, beating fifth-seeded Liberty.
