NFL Rumors: Ndamukong Suh Drawing Interest From These Teams After Release

Most of the marquee free agents already have been swept off the open market, but a big name officially became available at the turn of the new NFL year Wednesday.

Ndamukong Suh was released by the Dolphins on Wednesday after three seasons in Miami. Suh was productive throughout his tenure in South Beach, but the Fins reportedly decided to cut ties with the star defensive lineman as part of a “culture change.”

Considering Suh’s game-changing ability, it comes as no surprise that teams expressed immediate interest in the five-time Pro Bowl selection once he officially hit the open market. Which teams you ask? ESPN’s Dianna Russini identified a pair of clubs that are expected to kick the tires on Suh.

The Cowboys regressed on the defensive end last season, and pairing Suh with Demarcus Lawrence would create a downright frightening front seven in Dallas. The Seahawks’ interest also makes sense, as Seattle dealt away Michael Bennett and could be in danger of losing Sheldon Richardson as well.

But while both teams present sensible fits, that might not be Suh’s top priority in his free-agent decision.

Even with a big payday in demand, we imagine it won’t take Suh very long to find a new home.
