Philly Police Manage To Troll Patriots In Tweet About Snowstorm Space Savers

You know what they say: To the victors go the right to make fun of the losing team on Twitter.

A sizable nor’easter was expected to drop more than half a foot of snow in Philadelphia on Wednesday. In preparation for the usual chaos caused by snow in a major city, Philly’s police department tweeted out a friendly PSA — one that New England Patriots fans might not enjoy.

That’s just cold, guys.

To the Philly PD’s credit, they packed a whole lot of trolling into one tweet. There’s the mention of a failed comeback — the Patriots fell short to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII — the random reference to Tom Brady as the GOAT (which isn’t really an insult?) and the reminder that the Eagles got to parade down Broad Street after upsetting New England.

To top it all off, we have a GIF recreation of Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham’s famous strip sack of Brady late in the fourth quarter, with the football substituted for a traffic cone (which somehow morphs into a Super Bowl MVP trophy held aloft by Nick Foles).

Pats supporters might not find this very funny, but there’s one thing that both fanbases should agree on: People who use space savers are the worst.
