A familiar face will return to the broadcast booth for Thursday’s exhibition contest.

Jerry Remy will serve as color commentator alongside play-by-play announcer Dave O’Brien for NESN’s broadcast of the Boston Red Sox’s spring training game against the Baltimore Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla.

It’s Remy’s first appearance in the booth this spring after the longtime analyst recently completed his last round of treatments for lung cancer.

Right-hander Hector Velazquez will take the mound for Boston in his fourth appearance of the spring. Here’s the starting nine behind him, which features J.D. Martinez getting the call in left field and Sam Travis starting at first base:

1. Mookie Betts, RF
2. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
3. Eduardo Nunez, 2B
4. J.D. Martinez, LF
5. Christian Vazquez, DH
6. Sam Travis, 1B
7. Blake Swihart, C
8. Ivan De Jesus, 3B
9. Deven Marrero, SS
