How will Antonio Conte’s ultra-demanding style and sideline antics play in Paris?

The Chelsea FC coach probably will leave the Blues and take chargeĀ of Paris Saint-Germain next season, Sports Illustrated’s and Fox Sports’ Grant Wahl reported Wednesday, citing a source close to the situation. Conte’s move to PSG reportedly is “nearly a done deal” just two-plus months before the end of the current campaign.

Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League title last season, his first with the Blues, but his relationship with Chelsea’s board of directors has recently has sourced, with his bosses growing tired of his constant protestations over the club’s transfer policy.Ā Many believe Conte’s days at Chelsea are numbered, with speculation centering around when, not if, he’ll leave. A summer departure via firing or resignation is the most likely scenario, regardless of where Chelsea finishes in the Premier League.

Unai Emery currently is PSG’s coach, but Wahl describes him as a “dead man walking” in the aftermath of the team’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League by Real Madrid in the round of 16.

One of the main Conte-to-PSG storylines will revolve around his treatment of Neymar, PSG’s superstar forward whom the club spent a record transfer fee to sign last summer from Barcelona. Conte demands his players follow his orders to the letter, and any clashes with Neymar could destabilize his position as coach.
