Boston Red Sox pitcher Steven Wright made a huge step Wednesday afternoon when he faced live batters for the first time during spring training in Fort Myers, Fla.

Wright underwent cartilage reconstruction surgery last May, and this was the first time that he has pitched to live batters since then. Our NESN reporters caught up with the knuckleballer in the locker room to see how the session went.
