The Boston Red Sox’s lineup features a few of the best young hitters in baseball.
Sunday afternoon’s spring training game against the Baltimore Orioles served as a friendly reminder.
With the Red Sox trailing their division rival 3-0 in the top of the second inning, Andrew Benintendi clobbered a two-run shot to bring Boston within one. Rafael Devers followed Benintendi and promptly tied the contest with a laser of a solo blast.
Watch Benintendi and Devers go back-to-back on Baltimore in the clip below:
The Sox struggled to hit the long ball in 2017, so they’re certainly hoping these two youngsters can provide some consistent home-run pop in the upcoming campaign.
