It remains to be seen whether Zion Williamson can shoot, pass or defend on a collegiate — let alone professional — level.
But man, can that guy dunk a basketball.
Williamson, who will play at Duke next season, won the 2018 McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest on Monday — and it wasn’t even close. Combining quickness, leaping ability and overwhelming power, the 17-year-old put on an absolute show.
Here are the highlights:

Wow. That dunk at the 14-second mark was just obnoxious.
Williamson recently finished his senior season at Spartanburg Day School in South Carolina and enters his freshman season at Duke ranked No. 2 on the ESPN 150 for the 2018 class. He’ll be joined in Durham by R.J. Barrett and Cam Reddish, who rank No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, on the ESPN 150.
Say what you want about the Blue Devils, but they should be must-see TV next season.
