Kevin Garnett believes LeBron James can take the Houston Rockets to the final frontier.

The NBA legend on Tuesday’s episode of “Area 21” urged the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar to join the Houston Rockets. Garnett believes the Rockets would become an unrivaled superteam if James joined James Harden, Chris Paul and others in Houston.

“L.B. is gonna move somewhere and when he moves, it usually takes the league upside down,” Garnett said. “If I was him, I’d go to Houston. You know why I say Houston? It’s the one untapped source that hasn’t been touched in a long time.”

James will be the most sought-after free agent on the market this summer, and a host of teams are expected to pursue his signature, including the Cavs, Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe reported in December the Rockets will try to re-sign Paul to a long-term extension and “hunt” James during the free-agency period.

One doesn’t need Garnett’s basketball IQ to conclude James’ arrival in Houston would help the Rockets surpass the Golden State Warriors as the best team in the Western Conference.

After all, Houston currently leads Golden State by one game in the conference standings and owns the NBA’s best record without James’ dominant services.
