Brad Stevens Had Hilarious Answer To Question About Not Tipping Hand Before Playoffs

The Boston Celtics are running on fumes, with injuries plaguing them as far as the eye can see.

Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart are out for the foreseeable future. Shane Larkin is sick, while Terry Rozier was a game-time decision for Wednesday’s game. Daniel Theis and Gordon Hayward both are out for the season.

It’s obviously a tough situation, but C’s head coach Brad Stevens has handled it well.

In fact, he even has a sense of humor about it.

Stevens was asked about the looming playoffs and if he had any plans of keeping some tricks up his sleeve over the final regular season games to make Boston harder to prepare for.

“Well we’re doing that well by not playing guys.” Stevens said, via ESPN’s Chris Forsberg.

Can’t argue with that.

It obviously isn’t an ideal situation, but to piggyback off of Stevens’ point, you’re not giving the opposition much to work with when your starting lineup one night looks absolutely nothing like it will a few weeks down the road.
