The Tampa Bay Lightning struck first in their crucial game with the Boston Bruins on Tuesday at Amalie Arena, finding the back of the net early in the second period.

Just five minutes into the frame, Lightning center Brayden Point scored on a wrist shot from the circle to beat B’s netminder Tuukka Rask and give Tampa Bay a 1-0 lead.
