The B’s jumped on the Maple Leafs early and often Saturday night, scoring four first-period goals in their 7-3 win at TD Garden.

Following Boston’s Game 2 win in its first-round Stanley Cup playoff series against Toronto, B’s head coach Bruce Cassidy praised his team for its strong start and then finishing the job.
