Boston’s postseason home swoon dates to a 3-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens as a -170 wager in Game 7 of their second-round series during the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Bruins’ struggles continued a year ago with three consecutive home losses in their stunning first-round defeat at the hands of the Ottawa Senators, saddling Boston with a dismal 4-8 record in its past 12 postseason clashes at TD Garden going into Thursday night’s Maple Leafs vs. Bruins Game 1 matchup.
