Josh Norman Has Interesting Reason Why Tom Brady Could Play Five More Years

It is anybody’s guess how much more Tom Brady has left in the tank.

The New England Patriots quarterback hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down, but he’ll be 41-years-old when Week 1 kicks off in the 2018 NFL season.

However, somebody on the other side of the ball has a pretty interesting reason why Brady may have five more years left in the tank.

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman gave an answer that many defensive players probably are thinking, but haven’t really expressed. Since the NFL continues adding rules to protect the quarterback, Norman believes the Brady can continue playing for as long as he would like since the rules prevent him from being knocked around.

Here was Norman’s take during an appearance on FOX Sports 1’s “Undisputed”:

Interesting, although Norman’s perspective obviously is going to be a little slanted given he is a defensive player.

But it is worth noting Brady wasn’t always upright during his most recent campaign. He was sacked 35 times during the regular season, and took 84 quarterback hits.
