Maple Leafs’ Top Scorers Look To Rebound After Quiet Game 1 Vs. Bruins

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a slew of young, dynamic scorers, but they were nowhere to be found Thursday night.

The Maple Leafs were trounced 5-1 by the Boston Bruins in Game 1 of their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series. Zach Hyman notched the lone goal for Toronto, while the Leafs’ go-to playmakers like Auston Matthews and James van Riemsdyk seemingly were nonexistent.

If Toronto’s top players go quiet again Saturday night, the team could find itself in an 0-2 series hole.
