It feels like a week doesn’t go by without another report of New England Patriots drama.

The latest rumor is Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who hasn’t participated in New England’s voluntary offseason workout program, hasn’t committed to playing in 2018. The same report said Brady still is expected to play in 2018.

So, why was this report floated out there? And why are there similar reports about tight end Rob Gronkowski? It all could come down to money.

NESN.com’s Doug Kyed and Zack Cox discuss the latest Brady report on this week’s NESN Patriots Podcast. They also run through a 2018 NFL Draft preview, focusing on the offensive side of the ball, with the Boston Sports Journal’s Mike Loyko.
