Six months after squaring off in Super Bowl LII, the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will meet again in the 2018 NFL preseason.

The Patriots’ exhibition schedule, which officially was announced at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, includes a date with the reigning champs at Gillette Stadium.

New England will host the Washington Redskins in Week 1 of the preseason and the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2 before traveling to Charlotte for a road date with the Carolina Panthers and finishing at MetLife Stadium with their customary preseason-ending matchup with the New York Giants.

The dates and times for each game have yet to be announced.

The Patriots typically hold joint practices with at least one team each preseason. They previously practiced with both the Redskins and Eagles in 2014.

In fact, New England played these same four opponents in the same order in 2014, though the Redskins game was in Washington and the Panthers matchup was at Gillette.

The full 2018 regular-season schedule will be announced later this month.
