Red Sox, Alex Cora Have Wealth Of Offensive Weapons To Choose From

Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora has a problem, but it’s a good one to have.

The Red Sox’s offense has started to heat up during the team’s first homestand of 2018, leaving Cora with the difficult decision of who to put in the lineup and who to sit on a daily basis.

For Sunday’s series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays, Cora elected to start the red-hot Hanley Ramirez as the designated hitter while sticking J.D Martinez in left field and starting Mitch Moreland at first base. Jackie Bradley Jr. has the day off to begin the day.
